Meet the people behind the solution - the drivers of our success.
Our story begins in 1985, when frustrated government employees, sick of inefficient workflows, sought to automate the permitting and licensing process with software. This led to the founding of our former parent company, Municipal Solutions Group. Then, following years of success, hundreds of happy customers, and a strategic move to a cloud-based platform, in 2006, our investors chose to split the company in two, creating BasicGov; a stand alone, 100% software-as-a-service (SaaS) based company offering true cloud solutions for the public sector. Now, fast forward 14 years to 2020, and to the beginning of our most exciting chapter yet: after winning the largest permitting and licensing contract in North America in 2019, and raising considerable investment to drive our next stage of growth, in July, 2020, we announced our rebrand to Clariti - the only true cloud-based permitting and licensing solution for state and local government.
